Mohandas

Last week I watched another non popular type movie called Mohandas.

Strange co-incidence, last movie a saying by Mohandas K Gandhi and the next Movie Mohandas.

It was neither the name of Mr. Gandhi which led me to this movie nor was it directed by Anurag Kashyap. The name that led me to this movie was Mr. Aditya Srivastata. This guy has something in him. You always need not be 6-pack macho personality or chocolate boy to get noticed. There are people like Mr Aditya Srivastava, who are somehow exceptionally talented and stand out in their roles, how ever small it may be only with their acting talent and not the fake 6-pack or plastic surgery's. Be it Satya, Gulaal, Black Friday or Mohandas, this actor has brought life to every role he was in.

Mazhar Karman the director of this movie. You already know one of his most popular movies "Satya". The role of Manoj Bajpayee in that movie was initially offered to Mr. Aditya Srivastata, but the producers were behind popular names than real talent. If Manoj Bajpayee wouldn't have been the lead actor in that movie, maybe you wouldn't have heard of Satya, yet it would release and the perfection of work done would be nothing less than what it is now.

Mohandas is a slow paced movie in the beginning, but soon it catches speed and things start happening. Nakul Vaid, Mohandas of the movie actually has very few dialogs and is most of the time missing. The main actors of the movie are Sonali kulkarni and Aditya Srivastava. Sonali Kulkarni has done a nice reporter job, while Aditya's role initially was a person who ignores the wrong, happening around him and then slowly he comes out to help Mohandas find his identity.

Well, the story line was average, but Sonali Kulkarni with her revolutionary dialogs, Nakul Vaid with his silence and Aditya Srivastava with his fight for justice made the movie a good time pass movie to watch.
