Love Myths Busted

I read this article written by a psychologist, in a newspaper and I felt, "How true it is?"

Now don’t ask me why I feel it is true.  

I have added few sentences of my own. Everything was not copied :D

1. True Love happens only ones: Do you feel so??? Then you are wrong. There is nothing like "True love". "Love" itself is "true". Even your 1st crush when you were in 10th is true love, because you experienced it.

2. You can only love one person at a time: I know many will not agree to this point, but it is absolutely false. Human heart is capable of loving many people at the same time - simultaneously and romantically.

3. Marry everyone you love: You know this is impossible. Now if you think marrying any one you love, then it’s high time you come out of the "fairy tale" or "happily ever after" kind of world. Love is not enough to sustain a marriage.

4. True love lasts forever: This is a joke. After reading this, I know people might have changed their ideas about me, but truth is always bitter. Love, like all emotions is subject to birth, growth and death. Just because love lasts longer for some, it does not make it 'truer' than which fades away over the years.

5. First love is the 'real' love: First love is usually immature. We fancy just few facets of a person without looking at the big picture.

6. Infatuation is Love: Yup. There is no difference between infatuation and love. Often when we have our first crushes, we brush it off as "mere infatuations” because if we were to accept that we "fall in love" so often, we wouldn’t think too well about ourselves.

I couldn't disagree to the points highlighted by then psychologist, though I cannot say I believe in it 100% as I haven't experienced everything written above :)

21st Century Ghost

How far can a human imagination go??? Infinity!!!!

Yeah... One of my dreams proves that.

A person getting ghosts in their dreams is quiet common, but can you imagine those ghosts coming out of your laptop windows. Yeah, I got a very strange dream, where I was sitting on the bed in my room with all lights off and working on my laptop. Suddenly 20-30 windows got opened. The window which was active was black with red color here &there, and the strangest thing was that it was 3 dimensional with all those scary sound effects. From that window there was a scary face looking and me and I was sure it was trying to come out.

One can't imagine how scary it was. I took all my guts and somehow moved the cursor to the close symbol and clicked it. As soon as this window was closed the next window became active and that was much scarier than the previous. I closed this window too and the same happened again. I remember I nearly closed 10-15 windows this way and the things were becoming more and scarier.

May be then I just pressed the shutdown button of the lappy, or what else happened I don’t remember.

Morning when I got up I was laughing half of my day thinking how can I dream so stupid??? Ghosts out of laptop windows????

A dead body in my lawn

Its 5AM and I am walking back home, I don't know from where.

It’s still dark, the road is empty. Neither an animal not an insect. To the right, there is an empty plot, with just 4 walls and to the left there is a house with a tall gate and high walls. Just in front of me, there is a dead body. A man, in his 30's is lying in the centre of the road and I am standing there as if there is nothing so strange. I am absolutely clam and quiet, without any change in my expression.

The guy wasn't bleeding, so I donno how he died. I slowly caught hold of his hands and started pulling. I don't know if I made any sound while I was pulling him, but I was confident no one saw me doing it, my face expressions told me that. I took a right turn and even this lane was empty. It must have taken 30-45 mins to bring him home because now there was light.

The gate was open; I pulled him in and put him aside. My Dad was there. It was a water-day (We get municipal water every alternate day. The day we get water is called water-day and next day is called non-water-day). Dad was filling up water and I started ploughing between the two coconut trees. I ploughed for another 15mins, laid the dead body there and filled it with mud.

I entered the house and looked outside the window just too check if everything was properly covered. I was staring when i heard "Get up!!!! It’s late". My dad was calling me and I woke up.

I still look at the place where I found the dead body and the two coconut trees in my house and think, will this happen really in my life? Or is it past???

A Successful Love Marriage :)

Its engineering 4th year and there is a handsome new lecturer in our department. Now that there are so many engineering colleges you hardly find lecturers who look both good and are really intelligent. He is one of those rare cases.


A cute and handsome guy who just stepped out of his M-Tech college and was preparing to fly to US for his PhD, that was the only info we had about him when he joined our department. Looking at him, I can tell 98% girls would have started dreaming about him. The other 1% would be committed to someone else and the left over would be like me thinking... "Naah.... he is too handsome for me".


His subject was "Artificial Neural Networks (ANN)". So he was our ANN sir.
I was very popular among lecturers, but in case of ANN sir I was a normal student, because I never got a chance to make a difference by scoring good marks in his subject. His subject was so very artificial that if you even give a try to understand it, there'll surely be a short circuit in your neural network.


Suddenly, out of nowhere a news came flying. ANN sir loves an ECE student. 97.99% hearts broke (0.01% being the ECE student herself). Then the news started spreading like wild fire. They went to so and so place. He dropped her till the college for the interview. They were seen together during the weekend. Well, people got a topic to discuss, a lecturer and a student!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Slowly the news became old. The girl didn't get a job. So she decided to go to US for MS. Again stories.... Because ANN is going to US, she is also going to US. Will they go separately or together?? Will they go after marriage or before marriage???


Well, the sem. came to an end and we changed our college. We nearly forgot about ANN sir and the love story. But then, one day we got a news... ANN sir married the ECE girl during the last sem. holidays. She is still coming to college to complete her last semester. Finally the Love story successfully turned into a happy marriage.


Now you must be thinking why am I writing this... today.
I just added ANN sir into my orkut friends list and was looking at their happy-happy pics.... enjoying their married life in US. After so much of trouble they are finally living happily together and I wish they live happily ever after.
